Note - To install IHACRES, you must have the Java runtime environment (version 1.4 or later) installed. This can be downloaded from http://java.sun.com/getjava. Once you've installed the Java Runtime Environment, you install IHACRES by double-clicking on the .jar file and following the instructions in the installer.

This is the first version released via the toolkit and is a re-packaging of the previous version.

IHACRES 2.0.1 (IHACRES Classic Plus) is a re-development of PC-IHACRES (the 'Classic'). It retains all the original features, plus:
  • the original non-linear loss module including the extension for ephemeral catchments made by Ye et al (1997)
  • extension of the linear routing module to include all possible second order transfer functions
  • a cross correlation tool
  • additional goodness of fit indicators
  • visualisation tools including zoomable and 3-D plots.



Credit

IHACRES v2 (Classic Plus) is a major reimplementation of the original IHACRES (Classic) model. It is a product of the Integrated Catchment Assessment and Management (iCAM) Centre, Faculty of Science, The Australian National University.
